Phase I of a total 192 unit project, provided 127 units of affordable housing in the newly created Urban Core of the City of Opa-Locka. Within walking distance of the city’s tri-rail station and metro bus the complex serves the city’s vision of a Transit Oriented Development. This new 6 story building now sits as the tallest building within the city limits and helps fill the gap for affordable senior housing in the area. Phase II will provide an additional 65 units of affordable housing as well as 4,800 SF ground level retail space and additional parking.
