Plans Submitted For 1,100 Apartments At Metrorail Station

Another major transit-oriented-development is planned at a Metrorail station.

A filing for site plan approval was submitted to Miami-Dade on October 21.

The development is to be built on land leased from Miami-Dade at Palmetto Station. It is planned to include:

• 1,141 residential units (805,056 leasable square feet, average size 706 square feet)
• multi-level parking garage with 1,088 spaces for residential use (there will be an additional 550 spaces for Metrorail users)
• infrastructure and station improvements

Modis is the architect.

Res-Des Palmetto LLC is the developer.
