MG Developer plans apartments in Hialeah

MG Developer announced plans to build a 10-story apartment complex in Hialeah.

The Miami-based developer, led by CEO Alirio Torrealba, has proposed Metro Parc at 955 E. 25th St. and 980 E. 26th St. The two towers would combine for 433 units, which would range from 500 to 800 square feet, plus some ground-floor retail.

The developer, through affiliate Metro Parc Hialeah LLC, acquired the 2.5-acre site for $10.86 million in May and June. The site is located a block west of the Tri-Rail/Metrorail Transfer Station, where the two mass transit systems intersect. That means residents can reach many of South Florida’s largest employment centers, including downtown Miami, Miami International Airport, Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton.

“We are truly excited about moving into the Hialeah market and sharing our experience of building luxury and high standard of living and lifestyle to a growing city,” Torrealba said.

Rent in Metro Parc is anticipated to range from $1,150 to $1,840 a month. Amenities will include coworking spaces, a summer kitchen, a pool and a gym.

MG Developer plans to break ground on Metro Parc in January of 2022 and complete it in the second quarter of 2024. The architect is Ivo Fernandez of Modis Architects in Miami.
