SMATHERS PLAZA II

Design and development of a mid-rise elderly housing which includes surface parking, resident amenities, and 133 resident units. The units are comprised of one-bedroom/one-bathroom and 2- bedrooms/2-bath units. The project also part of a master plan interior and exterior renovation of 2 existing public housing towers. The property includes the common areas, lobby, community rooms, and laundry room at ground level, as well as all associated site work. The project scope included master planning, building design with ADA and UFAS requirements, obtaining zoning approvals, and providing construction documents. In addition, construction administration services; including payment applications and reviews were included.
